Set your language and notifications

Guide 5 min read 5 steps Updated 1 Nov 2026 Copy link

Switch The NLS between English and Spanish, change your dashboard background, decide which alerts reach you and how, and manage the newsletters you receive.

Your settings live under the gear in the top bar. The menu has three parts. Espacio de trabajo holds your language and notifications. Integraciones holds your listing feeds. Personalización lets you change the photo at the top of your dashboard.

This guide covers the Workspace and Personalisation settings. Feeds have their own guides in the XML feeds group.

Before you start

  • The email address you want alerts sent to, if it differs from your login email.
  • Your WhatsApp number, if you want one-click chats from client records.
  1. Choose your language

Click the gear, then Idioma, and choose English or Spanish. Everything follows your choice, including your menus and the emails The NLS sends you.

  2. Change your dashboard background

Under Personalización, open the background setting and click Cambiar to upload a photo for the top of your dashboard. A wide landscape image works best.

  3. Tell The NLS where to reach you

Click the gear, then Notificaciones. At the top you see how many alerts are on and where they can reach you.

Add the email address for your alerts and your WhatsApp number. The NLS never sends WhatsApp messages. Your number is only used to open chats that you send yourself from a client record.

  4. Choose what deserves your attention

Alerts are grouped into market, clients, deals and network. Turn a whole group on or off with its switch.

Click Personalizar on a group to decide, alert by alert, where it goes, in The NLS or by email, and how often, straight away or in a daily digest.

Note Each alert has a priority. By default urgent alerts arrive straight away, important ones in a daily digest, and informational ones stay inside The NLS unless you ask for more.

  5. Manage newsletters and round-ups

Open Email preferences. It controls the weekly property newsletter, open-house round-ups and invitations, the buyer wants digest, e-shots from other agents, and outreach.

Switch off anything you do not want and click Guardar preferencias. If you want none of it, use Unsubscribe from everything.

Note Email preferences cover marketing mail only. Alerts about your own leads, deals and signatures are controlled under Notificaciones.

Conviene saber

  • Alerts also appear on your dashboard under the Alertas tab in the right-hand rail, whatever you choose for email.
  • Digest first, then tighten. Start with the defaults for a week, then move anything you keep missing to straight away.
  • Language is per person. Each team member chooses their own, so a mixed English and Spanish office works fine.
  • Each marketing email also carries its own unsubscribe link, which brings you back to this page.
