Questions about this
What is a private viewing, and how do I add one?
A private viewing lets other NLS agents book their own time to see one of your listings, instead of coming to an open house at one set time. In My Open Houses, click Add Private Viewing (next to Add Open House), choose how visitors book, pick one of your published listings, the date, the From and Until times and the slot length, and click Publish Private Viewing. It is listed on Open Houses under the Private viewings tab.

Should I use NLS booking slots or my Google booking page?
You choose for each viewing. With NLS booking slots, The NLS cuts your window into slots and members book one each on The NLS: you see every booking on your card, and you both get Google Calendar and .ics links. With My Google booking page, visitors book in your Google Calendar appointment schedule, in Google's own window: Google confirms those bookings, and The NLS only counts how many times Book was pressed.

How do I get my Google appointment-schedule link?
In Google Calendar, click Create, then Appointment schedule, and set up your schedule. Then click Share and copy the booking page link, and paste it into Google Calendar booking link on the form. It must start with https://calendar.google.com/calendar/appointments/ or https://calendar.app.google/ — any other link is refused.
What slot lengths and times can I choose?
Slots are 30 minutes or 1 hour, inside a window between 09:00 and 21:00, on today or a later date (for today, the start must be later than now). With NLS slots the window must divide into whole slots: 10:00 to 13:00 gives six 30-minute slots. The form lists the bookable slots before you publish.
Can two agents book the same slot? Who can book?
No slot can be booked twice. If two agents click the same time together, one gets it and the other is asked to choose another. Slots are booked by logged-in NLS members, one slot per member per viewing; visitors who aren't logged in are asked to log in or join free. You can't book your own viewing, and a slot that has already started can't be booked.

What do the booker and I receive when a slot is booked?
The booker sees the booking confirmed straight away, with Add to Google Calendar and Download .ics, and gets a confirmation email in English and Spanish with the calendar file (.ics) attached. You, the host, are copied (Cc) on that email, so you get one email per booking. The booking also shows on your card in My Open Houses, with the agent's details and calendar links, and in Alerts on your dashboard.

Do bookings made on my Google booking page show up in The NLS?
No. Google bookings are made and confirmed in Google Calendar, so they appear in your Google Calendar only: The NLS sends no confirmation email for them and they don't appear in Alerts or on your card. Your card shows how many times visitors pressed Book instead.
How do I invite agents to a private viewing? Is there a limit?
Use Invite Agents on the form, as for an open house: search by name or agency and tick the agents you want. Invitations go out over the next few minutes, with a Book a slot or Book a viewing button. Each member can send one round of invitations every 20 hours, across all their open houses and private viewings; inside that time no invitations are sent, and the page tells you roughly when you can send again.
Will my private viewing appear in the weekly email?
Yes. Scheduled private viewings in the coming week are listed in the open-houses section of the weekly email, labelled Private viewing — by appointment, with a Book a slot or Book a viewing button.
Is my open house or private viewing posted to the Live Feed?
Yes. When you publish an open house or a private viewing, it is posted once to the NLS Live Feed (the Network tab on your dashboard) with an RSVP, Book a slot or Book a viewing link. If you cancel it, the post is marked Cancelled.
Can I edit or cancel a private viewing?
Yes, at any time, with Edit or Cancel on its card in My Open Houses — even after slots are booked. Until someone books, you can change anything. Once a slot is booked, the booking method, property, date, times and slot length are locked; notes, contact details and the newsletter option can still change. Cancel takes the viewing off the Private viewings page and marks its Live Feed post Cancelled. Agents who booked are not emailed automatically, so let them know yourself.

Am I told when someone RSVPs to my open house?
Yes. You get an email as soon as an agent RSVPs, with their agency and contact details and how many RSVPs you have so far, and the RSVP appears in Alerts on your dashboard. For a private viewing booked in NLS slots, the booking confirmation copied to you is that email.
