Assign a listing or a lead to one of your agents

Make one of your agents the main listing agent for a property with Team responsibility, or hand them a CRM lead with Assigned to; both reach their dashboard and email them, and Team listings on My Team shows their drafts.

1. 0:08Once your team is in place, you give them work by assigning it: a listing has one main listing agent, and a client in the CRM has an agent it's assigned to.
2. 0:26Open any listing your team owns. In Team responsibility, choose the agent who is in charge of it, and click Save assignment.
3. 0:36They become its main listing agent, and get an email to say so. An administrator or a manager can assign any team listing; an agent can only work on their own.
4. 0:53In the CRM, open the client, and use Assigned to, at the top, to choose the agent.
5. 1:01The record saves itself. The lead moves onto your agent's dashboard, and they get an email too.
6. 1:12Your agent sees the lead in the Alerts on their dashboard the next time they open it, with the email in their inbox.
7. 1:23And the listing now shows them as its agent, with you as co-listing agent; the client record shows their name under Assigned to.
8. 1:36On My Team, Team listings shows your agents' draft listings. From there you can create the listing agreement for a draft in one click, so a new agent's first listing doesn't stall on paperwork.
9. 1:51Reassigning is the same action: choose a different agent and save again. Your listings stay yours; assigning gives responsibility, not ownership.
