Log in from thenls.com with your username or email, recover a forgotten password by email, change your password from My Profile, and log out when you are done.
Everything on The NLS sits behind your login. This guide covers the four things you will do most often: logging in, recovering a password you have forgotten, changing your password, and logging out on a shared computer.
Before you start
- Your username or the email address you registered with.
- Access to that email inbox, if you need to reset your password.

Log in
Go to thenls.com and click Log in in the top corner. Type your username or your email address, then your password, and click Log In. You land on your dashboard.
If you do not have an account yet, use the sign up here link above the form.

Recover a forgotten password
Under the login form, click Forgot password?. Type the email address you registered with and click Send.
An email arrives with a link to set a new password of at least eight characters. If it has not arrived within a minute or two, check your spam folder or click Resend the email.
Note The reset email only goes to the address on your account. If you no longer have access to that inbox, contact the NLS team through Get help.

Change your password while logged in
Click your photo in the top right, then My Profile, then the Account & Security tab.
Type the new password twice, add your current password to confirm it is you, and save.

Change your login email
On the same Account & Security tab you can change the email address you log in with. Your username is fixed and cannot be changed.

Log out
Click your photo in the top right and choose Log Out at the bottom of the menu. Do this whenever you have been working on a computer that is not your own.
Good to know
- Username or email, either works. The login form accepts both, so use whichever you remember.
- Two-factor authentication is also managed from Account & Security. It is not required to log in.
- Spanish interface? Your language setting applies after you log in. Switch it under the gear in the top bar.

How do I join The NLS?
On thenls.com, click Join in the top corner, then Become a Founding Member. Enter your brokerage name, your name, email, phone number and postal code, then choose a username and a password of at least eight characters. Tick the box to accept the Terms and the Privacy Policy and click Create Account. Your account is created straight away.

How do I edit my profile?
Click your photo in the top right, then My Profile. On the Public Profile tab add a photo (a square image of at least 600 pixels works best), your bio, display name, brokerage, phone numbers and WhatsApp, region, areas, languages and specialisms, then click Save Changes. Your profile strength at the top goes up as you add more, and the tip underneath tells you what to add next.
