Write market insight, area guides or stories in My Articles, publish them on a public page with no contact details, bring in NLS News stories, and feature articles in your newsletter.
My Articles is where you publish your own market insight, area guides and stories under your own name. Each article gets a public page showing your title, your name, the date, a cover image and your text. You can share the address with clients or drop the article into your newsletter.
You do not have to start from a blank page. The NLS News tab brings a story in as a draft under your name, either word for word or rewritten in your voice, for you to review before publishing.
Before you start
- A topic worth a few paragraphs: what sold in your area this quarter, a guide to a neighbourhood, or a change in the market your clients should know about.
- A cover image, either a photo on your computer or a link to one you are allowed to use.
- The text itself, if you prefer to write it elsewhere first. You can paste from another document.
-
Open My Articles
My Articles sits next to your newsletter. On the Newsletter page, click View articles. The first time, the page is empty.
-
Start a new article
Click New article. Give it a clear title, then add a cover image: upload a photo, or paste the link to one.
-
Write the body
Type straight in, or paste from another document. The toolbar gives you headings, bold and italics, quotes, lists and links.
Keep it short and easy to scan. Headings every few paragraphs and a list where you have several points help a reader on a phone.
-
Save a draft or publish
Not ready yet? Click Save draft. Your draft stays private until you publish it.
When you are happy, click Publish. The article is now live. Back in My Articles, each article shows whether it is a draft or published, with Edit, View and Delete.
-
Share the public page
Click View to see the public page: your title, your name and the date, the cover image and your text. It shows no phone number or email.
Copy its address from your browser to share it with clients by email, WhatsApp or social media. To change the article later, click Edit, make your changes and press Publish again.
-
Bring in a story from NLS News
The NLS News tab brings a story from NLS News into My Articles as a draft under your name. You can take it word for word, or have it rewritten in your voice.
Either way it lands as a draft. Read it, adjust anything that does not sound like you, and publish it as you would your own piece.
-
Feature it in your newsletter
Published articles can go straight into your newsletter. In the Newsletter composer, add a section with My articles, pick the article, and click Add to newsletter.
It appears in its own section, From My Desk, with the cover, the opening lines and a Read the article button.
Good to know
- Area guides age well. A guide to a neighbourhood stays useful for years and gives you something to send every new buyer.
- One idea per article. A short piece on a single point is more likely to be read than a long round-up.
- Drafts are private. Nothing shows on your public page until you click Publish, so you can work on several at once.
- Rewritten news is still your name on the page. Read an imported story before publishing and make sure you agree with it.

Open it from the Marketing card on your dashboard (on your phone, under Marketing in the menu). Add a subject and a short introduction, then add sections: your own listings, listings from the network, your articles or NLS News stories. Arrows move a section up or down and the cross removes it. When it's ready, click Review and send, then Send.
